2012

2011 (Above-Average Starter)  Dependable guard with excellent lateral agility, average size, good technique and good hands.

Football Outsiders Almanacs

2012 Not a lot to go on, but we finished 2nd in FO’s line stat Adjusted Line Yards running toward the middle, 14th to right tackle and 6th to Right End.  We run a zone-blocking scheme  so pulls shouldn’t really affect these numbers.  We ran well to the middle and right side.  Chester played there.

2011 No mention again. Ravens finished 2nd on runs to the middle, 14th to RT and 6th to the RE.  They also had Ray Rice.

Pro Football Focus Grades

2011 (1103/1103 snaps) PFF judged Chester to be the worst guard in all of football in terms of run blocking.  This runs contrary to Football Outsiders line data.  He was 35th out of 55 qualified guards in Pass Blocking Efficiency Rating which is comparable to his generally average pass blocking ratings.

2010 Graded out as above average in pass blocking and run blocking with the Ravens.
