2012 Miscast as a No. 1 receiver when he’s really a No. 2. Noted that he produced a lower DVOA then about 85% of the wide receivers Peyton Manning worked with while playing for the Colts. Derisively cast as a quintessential Washington free agency pick up. They note that the Colts ran lots of quick hitches and screens for him because they wanted the ball in his hands. Is still primarily a deep threat. RG3 should be perfect for him.
2011 Said his big plays masks the fact that he is ‘simply’ not that good. Has below average DVOA’s… is wildly inconsistent from game to game. They do note that his catch rate improved after he worked with Peyton Manning on the route tree.
2010 Tied Ochocinco in committing offensive penalties. Got his chance with Anthony Gonzalez’s injury, stepped in and played better than average level DVOA suggests. Was targeted on 20 bomb attempts. Was their go deep receiver.
